Premier's Message
David Bartlett MHA

"I am very proud to take over the role of patron of the Southern Cross Young Achiever Awards because our young people are our community’s brightest resource.

These awards play a vital role in identifying and paying tribute to some of our finest and most talented young people.

They inspire us with confidence in their abilities and leadership skills and the contributions they make in our community will help define where Tasmania heads in the 21st Century.

Young people represent Tasmania’s future and it’s important that we give them all the encouragement and support they need to make their mark.

These awards give important recognition to our future community leaders and I encourage people from all walks of life to nominate and get involved.
